      FIRST MARBLEHEAD OVERVIEW: I started at First Marblehead when it was a ~20 person company in an old sail loft, helped grow it to IPO, white-label student loan provider to 18 of the top 20 financial services companies in the US, a ~1200 person company and back down to ~80 people (as a result of the 2008 financial crisis), when I left. While it wasn't always easy, I apply what I learned during that decade to help my clients on a daily basis.In 2007 First Marblehead was #90 on Fortune's list of fastest growing publicly traded companies.==This is the part where I honed my ability to manage the interplay between many products, projects and people. - Owned product roadmap for platform functionality, customized implementations, optimizations, and iterations of First Marblehead’s Monogram Platform, including initiative assessment, prioritization, and resource allocation to satisfy the needs of their $10M enterprise project portfolio.- Managed execution of product updates, including improving the UX ofthe loan application, design and launch of a money market account and creation of an industry leading student loan pricing and product configuration system.- Led transition to Agile delivery methodology, cutting time-to-market by 15%, saving $.5M+ annually, reducing reaction time to changes in scope and improving ability to satisfy client customization needs. Co-created SaaS sentiment analysis product that tracked online presence to determine how a company is perceived. The product provided information on the health of client brand or product in the eyes of the public, providing reporting over time and alerting clients to changes in perception.
