  System design engineer - battery systems Assess the given system specifications from customers and generate a set of requirements for the system design. From this document assess what the system needs to power (load schedules) load profiles given in the customer’s design specifications. Design the battery system elements to ensure that the system meets all the specifications, max system size rating of the system number of outgoing load circuits. Design the battery system taking into account voltage requirements, desired output current and design the power electronics for each system. Produce schematics for each system ensuring that the system schematics are updated when errors are encountered. Update drawings for production and produce an as final as built drawing pack for the customer. Engage with production to ensure the system is produced in accordance with the standards, drawings specifications and requirements. Solving any problems that arise during production. Engage with the test department to ensure that the system performs as expected and all functions are properly tested before the system is ready for shipping to the customer. write system documentation ensuring that it is ready for delivery. Working within the essential systems team i bring with me a wealth of knowledge and experience in battery backed systems, as well as many years of operational experience in nuclear industry. From nuclear power stations to other nuclear sites as well as vast experience in oil and gas, conventional power stations and national grid sites. taking on the huge task of designing and developing the battery systems, over the entire project. I bring over 25 years experience in battery and uninterruptible power systems design and maintenance to this wonderful project.
