This placement was a part of my professional development module, and I was able to gain a wider scope of interest in sport. • While working with the team, I used my initiative to gain feedback from the at risk demographic, in order to check for mental welfare and if they were enjoying the program. Successfully, this feedback form is still being used within their sessions to date. • I also devised an initiative to be used within the program to retain and grow project attendance, as this is essential for performance reports.• devised an online training platform for volunteers who will be helping with Run Norwich, in order to make sure the training is easily accessible for all.• This experience allowed me to work with a series of different demographics to expand my expertise in a variety of fields.   Oversee and lead on the Club Sport programme, leading on the annual programming of space on-site and off-site for all of the 47 Team Surrey clubs. Working with all Team Surrey clubs and their committees to identify ways in which clubs can improve the experience of their members throughout the year and over the coming years. Working autonomously to develop, implement, and review a club development scheme that supports club committees in their own development, and provides measurable improvements in student satisfaction through involvement in sport. Importantly, this is to be achieved by managing the annual Club Development Planning process with each new Club committee after AGM season, and advising on and supporting the implementation of new initiatives, organisational processes, and events. Additionally, a core part of the role is to run a series of progress meetings during the academic year to ensure clubs are keeping in-line with their own objectives for growth and development, as well as the wider Team Surrey objectives (Surrey Sports Park and the Students’ Union) and strategy.I will be working closely in partnership with Team Surrey staff at the Students’ Union, where the set up and governance of clubs (e.g., AGMS and assigning committee roles) sits, to ensure that all the appropriate standards of legislation are continuously met. Manage the onboarding and continuous development of new coaches into Team Surrey, as well as process the payroll for the coaches. Line Management of all Club Sport Coaches & Club Sport Coordinator, overseeing their development of the BUCS programme and SSP booking system for student training and development opportunities.
