  Served as a Corps Member and Assistant Team Leader for AmeriCorps NCCC FEMA Corps Atlantic Region, a national service program designed to strengthen communities and develop leaders in natural disaster relief. Served alongside ten diverse individuals over the course of 10 months and four projects assisting with the preparation, mitigation, and logistics for response and recovery for victims of natural disasters.   Served as a Field Team Leader for AmeriCorps NCCC Pacific Region, a program focused on developing leaders and strengthening communities. Supervised, directed and mentored a team of twelve, 18-24-year old's through 10 months of national service and leadership development. Planned, monitored, and evaluated project completion in coordination with Team Members, Project Sponsors, and NCCC staff. Oversaw the completion of 6 projects which included work in: trail building, landscaping, assisting youth camps in ADA compliancy, invasive species removal, outdoor education for adolescents aged 8 to 14, habitat restoration, infrasructure improvement, farming, and basic home construction. The National Runaway Safeline is the national communications system designated by the United States federal government for runaway and homeless youth, providing a hotline, online services, and text message assistance to youth needing housing, referrals, legal aid, transportation, or other community services.
