  In this position, I am responsible for the initial training of all junior officers, including cultural development, health and well-being, professional military skills, and, most importantly, leadership training and development. I conducted training to 60 people a year and serves as a leadership role model for up to 160 junior leaders. Other duties and responsibilities include:• Overseeing risk assessment and reduced the required staff loading in response to staffing issues.• Providing expert advice on training and development and ensuring alignment with the broader strategy and priorities.• Establishing and maintaining effective relationships for stakeholders. • Promoting health, safety, and well-being to staff and trainees.• Enabling staff to take the leave they earned, decreasing personnel cost, and improving productivity.Key Achievements:• Improved training output by 150% without a corresponding increase in staff that resulted in the highest training output in 20 years.• Revised the training model, creating a more integrated continuum of junior leader development that focuses on fostering the desired culture and behaviours.• Created a better balance between formal and on-the-job training.
