Upgrading of Jebel Ali–Lehbab Road through the construction of two bridges of six lanes in each direction along with turns and direct ramps to ensure a smooth flow of traffic from Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road to and from Abu Dhabi. Extending 27 km on Jebel Ali–Lehbab Road involving the widening of the Road from four to six lanes in each direction as well as constructing service roads in both directions and construction of four bridges. Show less Main Project features: To provide design review and construction supervision as “Supervision Consultant” for P023 Contract 4: Dukhan Highway to Alkhor Link Road project. The project is located west and south of Doha city and providing the New Orbital Highway connecting Dukhan Highway to Alkhor Link Road. The project includes approximately 42km of road network and a total of five interchanges. The Orbital Highway consists of 10 lane section (5 in each direction) with additional Collectors/Distributer roads, frontage roads and ramps. In addition to this, four separated truck lanes (2 in each direction) are provided starting from the tie-point with the existing interchange at Dukhan Highway to the project limit near to the intersection between the Orbital Highway and Alkhor Link Road.The mainline typical section also has a provision for a future addition of two more inner lanes in each direction (totaling to 14 lane mainline section). In addition, the project will include the provision of footways and cycle ways. Allowance for the future long distance rail and freight rail has been accommodated in the project. When completed, the road network will provide access to the existing and planned developments via the proposed interchanges; namely, J12A, J12B, J13, J14 and J19. Show less
