  Project Definition : Worked under one of the suite of software that drives Digital Thread for the ITO (Inquiry to Order) Processes for Onshore Wind. Show less Project Goal : To provide an automated solution for the validation of Supplier Data , for the GE Ren ERP Team , migrating from Zeal ERP to RACES ERP, to aid independent data governance and cost benefits.Designed and Developed an application single-handedly that takes into account the business requirements and eliminates the drawbacks of the manual mapping and validation process being done on Excel.I had the ability to evaluate basic technology choices and articulate tradeoffs.Significant Business Impacts:1. The developed automated tool produced nearly 97% accurate Mapping and Validation files, increasing the reliability for the customer to move from manual to automated tool.2.The automated tool reduced the time required in the processing from a week, to almost 5mins. Increased Efficiency3. Anomalies if any , in the data were now being highlighted for an easy to understand and transform the data accordingly. Increased Efficiency4. The output files were produced in a single usage/iteration of the tool.5. The tool had a GUI and business logic both developed via Python , giving a sense of comfort to the non-technical people to relate and provide an ease of usage.6.No internal or external cost was associated with the tool . Cost Efficient7. The tool was made into an application , easily shareable and accessible within the organisation, and could work offline ,without the need of net connectivity.8.
