      Feb 2015 - now
      Founder, Chief Disabled Guy

Accessible Japan exists so that travelers from around the world can enjoy Japan - regardless of ability.I created the website using Wordpress and outsourced technology from a few vendors, including hiring a developer for customization. I used experiences from previous jobs to create a vibrant brand and growing community.Aside from web site development, video editing, and graphic design, I act as a product manager. This involves sourcing material and managing several regular writers and numerous guest writers for the blog, as well as reaching out to hotels and inns to gather information for our accessible accommodation database - including working with hotels such as Intercontinental, Westin, and Prince Hotels. Numerous visitors require special equipment, so I act as a liaison between the local Japanese vendors and the client to ensure their needs are met. When not involved in the above activities, I visit various tourist attractions around Japan and write accessible travel guides.
