My work involved school administration; entering data into the University’s institutional repository (ePrints); minor copyediting of papers for submission to journals and conferences; research assistance; drafting correspondence; events organisation; financial responsibilities; providing executive assistance to the Head of School.

  I worked within the Open Access team on a short-term publication project. My duties included sourcing Open Access publications from college academic staff; interpreting copyright licenses; drafting documentation; liaising with academic and administrative staff across the college; entering data into the University’s research and information system (Pure); maintaining metadata integrity; and maintaining a social media presence.

  I was the Subject Liaison for the College's Business School, where I supported students and staff. In any one day I liaised with staff and students across the College; developed learning materials; monitored online resources; digitized library works; delivered research sessions; administered acquisitions; developed library collections; and provided advice and support for students. At the newly merged Edinburgh College I worked across multiple locations to grow Library services and provide support for teachers and students. I have developed Library collections; provided support and guidance in copyright licensing; advanced information literacy among students; supplied technical assistance, and delivered customer care.

I use best practice to enhance existing datasets, modernise national data and develop new data collections to support the changing information needs of customers, reporting as required.
