I was the Engineering Manager of this project, it was chosen as ''WORLD LARGEST HYBRID POWER PLANT & DESALİNATION PROJECT'' in 2013 by Global Water and Energy Commision . Our scope was consisted of all engineering activities including Gas&Steam Turbines, GSU/UAT (Generator Step-up & Unit Auxiliary Transformers), GCB (Generator Circuit Breakers), IPB (Isolated Phase Busduct), MV/LV Cubicles, Load Flow Analysis, Short Circuit & Relay Coordination Studies, Grounding Calculations, DC, UPS, Battery System, BSDG(55MW)/EDG (12MW), Motor Start-up Studies for safety shut-down of plant & re-start of plant in island mode, DCS, Fire Detection System, CCTV, Ligthing, Lightning, Generator/ Transformer/HV GIS/ MV/LV Systems’ Protection Engineering & Cubicles, HV/MV/LV Cable Sizing & Layout engineering. Interface & engineering management of all over the Power Plant including mechanical and civil works. Project Total Budget was 3 Billion € and I managed a very large multinational & multidisciplinary engineering team. Our scope of supply was also including 154kV HV Substation,Hydro Turbines, GSU/UAT Transformers, IPB, GCB, MV/LV (AC&DC) & Protection Cubicles, Cabling, Grounding, BSDG & EDG, DCS and its relevant engineering studies which included Erection & Commissioning. The projects budgets were 7 & 6.5 million €.* Çanakkale Wind Power Plant (60MW) /Enerjisa in Mahmudiye, I was the Technical Project Manager of this turnkey Wind Power Plant Project which was including EBOP, Wind Turbines with their foundations, roads, cable trenches, 154kV HV switchyard, RMUs, MV/LV Step-Up Transformers (3MVA) and 22 pcs. Turbines & Transformers which were installed & commissioned.* Astana Solar Power Plant (100MW)/KB; in Kazakhstan, I was the Project Manager, our scope consisted of Inverters, AC & DC cabling, Transformers (2x60MVA), HV/MV substations, steal structures, cable trenches & civil works.* Rudeshur Combined Cycle Gas Power Plant (780MW)/Unit International in Iran, I was the project manager and our scope was EBOP which consist of Gas Turbines interfaces, GSU/UAT Transformers, GCB, IPB, MV/LV Cubicles, EDG, DCS, MV&LV Cable engineering,Erection & Commissioning. The project budget was 25 million €. * Nasserieh & Zayzoun Gas PP (260MW)/KOCH in Syria, I was PM of this project and our scope consisted of EBOP part incl.   North Marmara Silivri Underground Natural Gas Storage Project in Turkey (it is the ‘’Europe’s Largest Natural Gas Storage Facility’’ Project with a volume of 4,6 Billion Sm3), the aim of this mega project is to inject gas (in summer time_when cheaper) and withdraw it (in winter period_when required). We store %30 of our country’s gas needs, 2km below the seabed of Marmara Sea. I'm working as Head of Engineering Dept (overall Engineering Manager) and responsible for all engineering design; managing teams of mechanical, construction, electrical & instrumentation engineering. Project budget is around 1 Billion €. Our EPC project is consisting of two parts; as 1st part at onshore side which is including Gas Preparation Systems, Slug Catchers, Primary Separators, HP Condense Separators and also including Dehydrate Systems as Silica Gel Units with Wind Turbines (10MW) & Solar Panels for plant auxiliaries. Also, 5 pcs. of Siemens brand SGT-400 type Gas Turbines & Compressors are used for pressure arrangement of the plant pipelines. We have 2 * 2750kVA diesel generators for emergency cases and also, we have HV & LV Substations for the plant energy distribution as well as the other electromechanical (Fire Fighting Systems, CCTV, DCS, RMU, MCC Cubicles & 15MVA Transformers) infrastructure systems. Inlet Filters, Metering Units, Fuel Gas Packages, Gas Start-up Heaters, Gas Air Coolers are also used. At 2nd part offshore side; 2 pcs of Sea Platforms were constructed which included 18 gas wells in order to store & withdraw 4,6 Billion Sm3 gas 2km below the seabed, also subsea pipelines & MV cables were pulled between offshore platforms and onshore facilities. I’m arranging engineering & project management meetings, 3D Review meetings (AVEVA 3D), Risk Assessment Studies (Fire & Explosion), HAZID, HAZOP, Fire & Gas Mapping and SIL Studies with BOTAŞ & TPAO.
