      Rising to the level of senior consultant, Jamie provided professional human resource consultancy services to the Western Australian minerals and petroleum industries. He also developed policies and procedures including terms and conditions, privacy policies and prepared advertisements for local, national and international media.

      Research Officer

      Jamie was responsible for developing the methodology to manage a state-wide regional consultation process across regional Western Australia and the analysis of primary and secondary research into the telecommunication needs or regional communities. This included liaison with media, members of the project reference group and the preparation of ministerial communications. Jamie authored several chapters in the 700 page research document, including the methodology chapter.

      As a project manager on the Network WA Project team Jamie was responsible for managing the communications and risk profile for a $64m telecommunications project. His responsibilities included the negotiation of nine memoranda of understanding between universities and several State Government agencies. It also included the creation of detailed project plans including risk management, communications and project migration plans.

      Coordinated a highly successful program under the National Broadband Demand Aggregation Initiative. This included 30 separate WA local government infrastructure audits and business cases that resulted in the deployment of broadband infrastructure to over 100 towns in regional Western Australia.

      As the inaugural Vice Chairperson (a role he held for several years), Jamie was a founding member of the association and assistedwith strategic planning and governance. From 2012 – 2014 he was the Chairperson of the Finance and Administration Sub-Committee. As a small community based organisation working in partnership with remote Aboriginal communities, Jamie volunteered his expertise to draft business plans and polices, identify and secure new sources of revenue and provide governance leadership. During his tenure, Jamie facilitated the drafting of the inaugural and subsequent business plans and the association's five year strategic plan. Show less

      Jamie was elected by his industry peers to the company Board in 2014 for a two-year term and retired in 2016. He was a member of the Practice Development Committee and the Chairperson of the Governance and Finance Committee. During his first year of tenure, Jamie provided leadership in the development of key governance policies and inbtroduced the concept of a professional credentialing models for engagement professionals.       Jamie represents Australia and New Zealand on the global council that establishes the global standard for commercial businesses that seek to achieve positive social, economic and environmental impact through their operations. In this role he is a leader in a global movement to redefine how businesses measure their success and the role of business in creating a more sustainable future. He also reviews the international standard and adjudicates contentious applications for B Corporation certification. Show less
