Arranged and headed up all meetings ensuring that stakeholders knew their area of responsibilities, timelines, and keeping the project within the budget. Show less • Deployed to Afghanistan as a Facilities Manager, managing over £2m of resources and materials for the construction of outpost locations whilst coordinating all transportation requirements. • Analysed all design reports and calculations from outposts confirming this against held resources, redesigned drawings to fit the requirement before being authorised from the Managing Director. • Praised by the Deputy CEO and Director for Managing in the prompt delivery of £600k+ of resources materials and equipment within 10 hrs due to a dramatic security breach after several lives were lost.• Single handily commanded a mission critical task as Manager for 20+ staff dismantling a military and civilian base, consisting of working and living accommodation, 4 intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition, and reconnaissance assets with a total cost of £7m and earning the praise of the British Army’s Chief of General Staff.• Promoted ahead of peers by the CEO due to an outstanding performance as a Facilities and Project Manager of the organisation in Afghanistan receiving the only recommendation for that year for promotion. • Managed the planning of multiple training packages for 150+ staff to confirm all KPI’s had been met and to test all aspects and all levels of the Chain of Command.
