  Christian Homes, Inc. is in charge of running numerous nursing facilities throughout the Midwest. The particular one that I worked at was located in central Illinois. As a Certified Nursing Assistant in a nursing home that welcomes residents of all needs, I was responsible to provide a variety of care. Many day-to-day responsibilities included taking vitals, assisting individuals with using the restroom, bathing, changing clothes, transferring to different locations, and eating. All of this information was required to be charted in the computerized system. I also gained a lot of experience working with those who have dementia, and oftentimes Alzheimer's. Though helping someone complete daily needs that many of us take for granted is very rewarding in itself, I would say that the best part about this job was interacting with each person and becoming someone they looked forward to seeing. I obtained a wide variety of knowledge and experience, including working will all age groups and genders facing many mental health conditions.   I happily consider myself one of the folks that provide a service to hungry customers! My job with Postmates entails picking up or placing orders at restaurants, keeping the products temperature-controlled, and delivering them to the recipient at the specified location through the Postmates app in a timely manner. I consider myself to be very detail-oriented, so I'll be sure that everything handed over is as the customer ordered before leaving the restaurant. I also like to toss in any extras that may seem appropriate for each given situation. Show less
