  Project Manager – Santiago Office- Responsible for the Project Management of the feasibility studies for the Coya I Hydroelectric Project Upgrade. However, this project was found to be financially non viable and the scope of work was changed to then include the feasibility studies and final engineering design for the Coya II Hydroelectric Project (project development placed on hold).- Project Managing the feasibility studies and basic engineering design of the Nido / Las Lenas Hydroelectric Projects.Special Achievements:- Turned around the non viable Coya Upgrade Project into the financially viable Coya II Project that has a completely greenfield status compared to the previous extremely difficult to construct brownfield status.- Managing several International Engineering Consultants that are performing the studies and design for the above projects.- Successfully took over all the project management duties for the Nido / Las Lenas projects due to a resignation and continued with the work up to the end of basic engineering design.   Project Coordinator/Site QA/QC Manager – Chacayes Site Office- Responsible for all coordination between the Pacific Hydro Head Office and Site Office during the construction phase of the Chacayes Hydroelectric Project, and in particular for design and contractual matters. The Chacayes Hydroelectric Project entered into commercial operation at the end of December 2011.- Managing the Quality Supervision Team of the owner on site in order to ensure that the EPC contractor achieve the highest level of compliance with quality standards and technical specifications.Special Achievements:- Ensured the efficient flow and recording of information between Head Office and the Site Office. This information was invaluable and was used in the evaluation of contractor’s claims and presented to the Dispute Resolution Board.- Trained and led the quality team to identify and record all substandard work performed by the contractor. More than 500 non conformances were issued during the construction period and to date an 80% closure rate has been achieved through constant interaction with the contractor.- Managing and working with an International EPC contractor that is doing the construction of the Chacayes Project and Engineering Consultants that are doing the design. The previous project layout presented potential Environmental & Community concerns due to being close to a National Reserve, small village and town.- Managing Engineering Consultants that are performing the feasibility studies and basic design for the above project.
