      The Chevron Research Award of Excellence The International Association for the Stability, Handling, and Use of Liquid Fuels (IASH) Oct 2011 John Bacha was a consulting scientist with Chevron Products Company. He was a strong supporter of IASH, and was internationally recognized for his studies on diesel fuel and residual fuel chemistry. He was also extremely keen to encourage the younger generation to join and enrich the industry. After his untimely death, his family initiated a fund (The John Bacha Education Fund) to be directed toward student sponsorship and other educational opportunities that may arise.
