My students directed their own learning through small group guided math and project based learning. I contributed to the district math program by leading trainings on math workshop and working on district level tests with the math coordinator. I was a faculty sponsor for VEX Robotics club and directed the inaugural Camp Invention program for LEISD hosted at our campus.

In this role, I trained and supported teachers so they could provide appropriate interventions to the scholars they served. I coordinated all aspects of Response to Intervention and 504s at the PK-8 school. I also worked with teachers and students through academic incentive programs and supported family involvement by planning a literacy night program.
