  In June 2016 I won a research grant for "Designing, Developing and Experimenting of Mechatronic modules and sub-modules of wearable robotic systems for rehabilitation, assistance and / or enhancing the user's motor skills".In particular, my business concerns:▪ The biomechanical study of human joints with related simulations on software in order to trace the functional and technical requirements for prototype development▪ State of the Art analysis of wearable robotic devices for the purpose of contributing to the process decision-making on the development of new products▪ Mechanical design of exoskeletal modules, setup to study innovative transmission mechanisms, additional elements to integrate on robots to meet the requirements of safety▪ The characterization of mechanical components (eg torsional springs)▪ Technical document processing concerning the structure of the mechanical assemblies, installation procedures, risk analysis, safety standards and robot application methods on the patient▪ The planning and management of tests to be carried out for the certification of the exoskeleton (CEI EN 60601-1, Third Edition)Along with the activities above mentioned, I am chief for the maintenance of the upper limb exoskeleton platform and its installation during experimental sessions.I also take care of managing the relationship with companies for choosing and buying commercial mechatronics components and with mechanical workshops for the production of custom items.
