About me

Born on Teacher's Day and as destiny would have it, I found my passion in teaching and mentoring. I was an average student throughout and was never focused until I met Finance when I decided to explore the possibilities and most importantly the potential value it has in each of our lives. From most trivial decisions like going clubbing or investing in personal growth like taking a spoken English course to most important decisions like whether to buy or rent a house involves the application of financial knowledge. You require skills to earn money but that's not enough. You also must possess the skill to manage money to secure your retirement or be able to meet unexpected expenditures like health-related. Money Management or Personal Finance is a life skill that every individual must possess and for that, one must understand financial concepts. With the aim of transforming the way we learn what we learn and further improving the efficiency and relevance of content and matter we consume by being able to differentiate between value-added and non-value-added content as per industry requirements in a timely manner, Skillshort was founded to bridge the gap between the skills required for employability and the skills possessed by students. This becomes the 1st Step i.e. acquiring skills that help you increase your earning potential Financial Literacy is the 2nd Step i.e. basic skill that every person should possess to make informed economic and financial decisions and strive toward financial independence. I have 2+ years of teaching experience and with my academic background of CA and CFA, I believe I can empower others to become financially literate.
