      As the store manager, I had the full responsibility of day to day running of the store and staffing, performing to the company’s set targets for turnover / cash / profitability and company set standards. Initially I was at the Burton store to gain a full understanding of the role – I was given a bigger store quite quickly as I exceeded expectations.At the Oldbury store I ran a team of seven staff to operate the store in its different aspects, motivating the different characters to work efficiently to achieve the set criteria, by not only motivating to sell core product but also accessories and ancillaries to boost profit margin.
