  After volunteering with many youth focused organisations since the age of 14, the opportunity arose to apply for the role of Activity worker with Neath Port Talbot Youth Service. Since gaining employment with the organisation I have completed a Level 2 Award in Youth Work Qualification and have also more than tripled my original offer hours. My goal for this role is to complete a Level 3 qualification in youth work within the next year (December 2015)

  During this time I mainly worked as a project engineer working on enabling and main construction phase of a capital investment project. I was responsible for delivering enabling work schemes to a budget, and in line with safety regulations. Working as part of a CDM 2015 management team looking at the pre-construction information, construction phase plan, contractors planning and site establishment. Worked as a project engineering on the 90day construction phase working shifts mainly concentrating on the implementation and management of safety regulations, management of a construction site within a producing steel plant with a key importance to communication links with the production team as-well as problem solving for the construction phase and liaising with the multiple onsite contractors.
