Jan 2016 - Jan 2016Construction Management InternAt Pizzarotti-IBC I had the privilege of working alongside a team of construction management professionals working on-site at 227 E 19th St, a high end housing project designed by Woods Bagot Architects. During my stay at this project I gained valuable experience shadowing the project superintendents, safety managers, PM, and several sub-contractor foreman. I had the opportunity to observe a large scale project at all scales of involvement, from the upper management to the workers in the field, and interact with these professionals as I was shown the intricacies of how a large construction company operates and corresponds with architects, consultants, and professionals in between.
