  As the technical lead for the RoboCup@Home division where I worked with the arm, base, gripper, and torso sub-teams to define the mechanical, electrical and software design for the robot's subsystems. I was responsible for facilitating design reviews, training team members, identifying design requirements, and integration of the various subsystems. As the co-captain I was involved with the restructuring and management of the teams' internal activities. These internal activities span from a range of activities from inventory management, purchasing, internal communication, project documentation practices, and preparing/reviewing funding applications. Open Robotics had 3 subdivisions during my co-captaincy; ArtBot, RoboCup@Home & PianoBot. As a member of the advanced gripper team, I was involved with the mechanical and electrical design of the robot's wrist and forearm. During this time, I had two major prototypes were built; a differential based wrist design and a decoupled wrist design.
