  As a provider I helped take care of my grandmother by cleaning her apartment, occasionally making meals, and spending time with her. In regards to cleaning, I dusted and wiped down counters and surfaces, swept and mopped floors, sanitized the kitchen and bathrooms, and vacuumed.

  Every Sunday I host and lead worship for the Kindergarten-3rd grade area at church. I also help as a science teacher, teaching children a Bible lesson and then applying it to a science concept. For the past 2 summers I have also helped with Vacation Bible School.

  PLTL Leaders oversaw a group of about 8-10 students in a General Chemistry discussion group. Leaders helped students understand and complete worksheets and materials given by their instructor to help assist them in their course. Leaders prepared ahead of time for group discussions and questions and helped prepare students for lab write-ups.

  Writing Coach

  As a Writing Coach, I helped assist students with various writing projects at different stages of their writing. Students would come in for one-on-one appointments and we would work to improve their writing, rather than strictly editing their paper. I would also help with front desk work, answering emails and phone calls, greeting students and faculty, ordering and restocking handouts, cleaning the work space, and helping update our social media accounts.

  As the Writing Center Coordinator, I support the Director by coordinating various functions of the Writing Center. In this role, I supervise student employees and lead monthly meetings. When needed, I also help coordinate meetings and schedules for our part-time professional staff. Each semester, I maintain records and analyze appointment and demographic data in order to determine appropriate changes for improvement. On a larger scale, I communicate with and coordinate workshops for students, faculty, staff, and alumni in the undergraduate, graduate, and non-traditional departments, on campus and regionally.
