Management Essentials takes a distinctive, hands-on approach to management. Participants in this course learn to identify, understand, design, and shape critical organizational and managerial processes as a means of getting the work done. The course focuses on four of the most essential processes for managers – decision-making, implementation, learning, and change. Participants work through real-world challenges faced by managers across a variety of industries, and come away with tangible tools and techniques that they can readily apply in their organizations to create higher quality, more efficient work. 'Seismic Modeling' - Summer Intern

      • 2D Seismic Modeling: Worked on the “2D Seismic Modeling” project, and built an appropriate Velocity Model through the generation of synthetic seismic data and making comparisons to real seismic data, which was later interpreted along with gravity & magnetic data available for the region.• Computation of Magnetic anomalies over 2-D bodies.• Gravity Modeling on Marine Gravity data.

    • TotalEnergies

      May 2008 - Jul 2008
      'Development Geophysicist' - Summer Intern

      • Responsible for the development of appropriate seismic attribute cubes for characterization of fracture networks and sub-seismic faults in a Fractured reservoir. • Performed seismic reservoir characterization for oil fields in NEB (Middle East). Worked in an integrated 3G-R team, providing seismic characterization inputs to match reservoir simulations. • Successfully initiated the process of extending the seismic characterization to the surface from the reservoir zone in order to have insights on the cause of fractures and their distribution. 'Geomechanics' - Summer Intern

      • Worked on the “MEM (Mechanical Earth Model) creation and Geomechanical Fracture Analysis”.• Made a key contribution carrying out comprehensive work on characterizing critically stressed fractures – hydraulically conductive fractures; Important for horizontal well positioning (frac wells/ producers). • Provided suggestions for developing a geomechanical methodology for estimating ‘fracture permeability’ with the help of in-house correlations.
