      EMP2 is a small, veteran-owned business established in 1997. We serve federal, public, and private industry customers nationwide. We specialize in energy conservation, pollution prevention, and project management solutions for our customers. We provide energy auditing services, development of funding sources, energy engineering services, project facilitation services and project management services.In December 2010, EMP2 was selected as the sole awardee of the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) Energy Savings Performance Contracting (ESPC) Project Facilitation contract. As of January 2014, we have facilitated 74 energy savings performance contracts awarded under the ESPC program, with $2.2 billion in ESCO investment and an excess of $250 million in annual savings. We have performed over 600 audits for our federal and commercial customers, and saved over $4 million in reduced project costs for our customers through application of our detailed review process. Mr. Dunnivant is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Demand-Side Management Professional (CDSM), owner and Senior Project Manager for EMP2. He serves as a Project Manager, Lead Measurement & Verification (M&V) Consultant and Project Facilitator to the Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) and Project Manager for work performed for NW Utilities. Steve has contributed to the FEMP ESPC program and has worked with various Northwest Energy Efficiency programs since 1997. Steve has co-authored papers, presentations and guidelines on Project Management, Commissioning, and Motor Management that are now used by DOE-FEMP and within NW Utility Programs. Show less
