  After initially specializing in acute and rehabilitative burn care, I returned to the Trauma/Burn Step-Down Unit following a brief period in cardiac stress test labs. In my continued role, I delivered comprehensive burn care, managed acute clinical situations, and collaborated with providers to address patient condition changes. I continued to provide acute care to trauma and surgical patients further honing my expertise in burn and trauma care. In my role in the cardiac stress testing, I independently conducted dobutamine stress, treadmill stress, and nuclear stress tests among other cardiac tests. I assessed patients and interpreted dynamic 12-lead ECG readings in real-time. Additionally, I educated patients on lifestyle changes related to their cardiac health and provided guidance on treatment plans, empowering them to make informed decisions for better heart health.
