  Ph.D project: "Centrosome dynamics, chromosome instability and treatment response after whole-genome doubling in colorectal cancer".The main goal of my PhD project was to characterize the role that whole-genome doubling and centrosome gain play in chromosomal instability and genetic heterogeneity, as well as to establish the impact of this on chemoradiotherapy response and recurrence risk.Main responsabilities:- Scientific design, implementation and development of research oncology projects. - Conducted statistical data entry and analysis using several programs and statistical packages.- Collection, management and entry of clinical data in order to create comprehensive patient databases.- Project and budget management of multiple projects with the ability to effectively multi-task and adapt to rapidly change directions to cope with deadlines.- Acquired knowledge of regulations governing translational and clinical research, including ICH-GCP guidelines and data protection legislation.- Expertise in a wide range of molecular techniques, such as: cell culture, patient samples handling, FISH, RT-qPCR, immunofluorescence, nucleic acids extraction, transfection techniques, cells drug treatment and irradiation, Western-blot and cell viability and apoptosis assay among others.
