  On an integrated course for entry into a First Officer's position with an airline, I gained the practical skills to safely and efficiently fly a variety of aircraft types both solo and as part of a team. After first series passes in all flight tests, I flew airbus A320s for easyJet across Europe in the busy environment of international air travel. Here I managed the flight as a process, including: time management, cost savings, safety, and passenger satisfaction.   Responsible for the development of the projects in the North West and Central Region including Midlands Rail Hub programme (£1.5bn – £2bn AFC), my responsibilities include: • managing the production of business cases for submission to the DfT that balance the needs of the funder, value for money, network availability, capacity for future development and whole-life-cost;• identifying the scope for funding proposals and reviewing and interrogating remits from the supply chain to deliver that scope;• establishing the requirements for the programme in an output based way that reflects what the funder and the industry really values;• leading multi-disciplinary teams to meet those requirements and holding the supply chain to account for delivery to cost, time and scope parameters;• ensuring programme compliance with corporate and public governance; • identifying and agreeing solutions that minimise disruption to passengers and freight end-users; and• building relationships (internally & externally) through effective stakeholder management at various levels. Näytä vähemmän Responsible for leading the assurance processes of Peer Reviews and Tender Assurance, my responsibilities included:• agreeing the schedule of assurance for both processes with programmes and senior stakeholders around the business and managing changes to the schedule;• performing assurance on enhancement programmes as a Peer Review Team Member and a Tender Assurance Reviewer (representing Programme Management);• leading direct reports and working closely with programmes to deliver our committed schedule of Assurance; • training senior leaders across the business to perform assurance; and• improving both assurance processes to make them more robust, efficient and customer focussed.
