      My responsibilities included recruitment of staff including conducting interviews, inducting, training, staff and supervisor reviews and disciplinary. I was also solely responsible for the weekly staff schedule where I have a proven track record of meeting APSH (attendance per staff hour)During my time in management at AMC I also covered the following roles;• Concessions/Retail; Management of the Food & Beverage department. Fully trained on the weekly stock count and food and beverage stock orders. Also organisation of staff incentive schemes to boost staff morale and customer spend per head.• Corporate; Meeting with various companies in regards to corporate and private hires and being solely responsible for the sales of corporate tickets needing constant communication with local restaurants and hotels in order to reach desired targets.• Duty Manager; Communicating effectively with both customers and colleagues. Pro-active running of the floor, cashing up tills, balancing fund, handling guest concerns whilst maintaining company standards. Training of floor supervisors through giving them more autonomy and recognition resulting in progression within the business’ performance, management of staff i.e. lateness, sickness and also rewarding outstanding performance. Commercially aware of competitor pricing and promotional activities. Generating spreadsheets to forecast and evaluate business and advertising campaigns. Planning and following through advertising/promotional activities i.e. Student Fresher campaign and seasonal Coca Cola drives. Ensuring the floor is commercially focused, to encourage repeat business and impulse purchasing. Monitoring Health & Safety standards. Holding weekly supervisor meetings in order to discuss SPH and ways to promote it further and ensuring all cleaning standards are met.       As Licensee/General Manager I was responsible for the operation of all areas - covering Bar / Restaurant / Hotel. This was a fantastic experience for me as it gave me the room to be creative and appeal to customers from a young point of view. I worked extremely hard for 3 years covering over 70 hours a week to maintain high standards as a perfectionist I thoroughly enjoyed working hard to hit my own targets and only decided it was time to move when I decided to start a family. During my time at The Martin Inn I fulfilled the role of General Manager with a team of 10 - 12 staff.
