  International Volunteer

  During a volunteer camp I worked in an orphanage-village in the rural Njombe region in Tanzania. With a group of 16 volunteers, we:1) supported women of the orphanage in taking care of the youngest kids (0-3yr old).2) supported women of the center and the centre volunteers in harvesting activities in the agricultural fields owned by the orphanage.3) contributed to the realisation of animation activities, including an entertainment show for the children of the center.4) supported women of the center and local collaborators of the center in other general activities.   Volunteer with migrant children

  I worked with immigrant women victims of violence and their families, who were all hosted in Casa Chiaravalle's assistance center. I contributed to integration of children into 1) the Italian and society, by helping them with school work and designing cultural activities for them; 2) the multicultural environment of the hosting center, by organising bonding activities for them and educating them to diversity.

  We aim at exposing people to Chinese and East Asian culture, politics, economy, security etc. Our base is academic, as we are all determined and passionate graduate students at IHEID.As board member I participate in the collective decision-making process.As member of the Event committee I co-draft the events plan, organise academic panel discussions, workshops, cultural activities and campaigns, I manage events logistics, contact guest speakers, and moderate panel discussions.

  European Guanxi is a non-profit organisation that aims to develop an empowered network of young European professionals, scholars and students who will impact the dynamics of the EU-China relationship on all fronts.As a member of the Italian national board, I draw guidelines and coordinate the work of the local chapters of Milan and Rome. I take care of communication with the community members in the Italian chapters, bridging between the national board of European Guanxi, our Global mandates and the 200+ Italian members of our initiative.
