      I joined A Quote as the manager of the renewals department and spent around three years in that role growing the department and increasing both retention rates and earnings per case before moving to the role of sales manager with specific responsibility for the Twilight teams which were manned largely by the less experienced staff, as it was felt I would be able to get the best out of them. I was then given the opportunity to run a stand-alone office in Aylesbury where I had sole management responsibility for a team of over 60 – a mixture of sales and customer service staff. I joined Be Wiser when it was a start-up company and my role was to recruit, train and then manage the sales team.I helped the company to massively exceed the targets set for its first five-year plan, which saw the company grow from a start up company of eight staff to be a multi million pound business employing over 500 people.
