Graduated in December 2019 and gained the rank of Cadet Reserve Officer (Infantry).Attended Machine-gun operator school and was accredited the relevant specialization upon completion of the training.Role and responsibilities: As a Cadet Officer I was Second in Command (2IC) for two Companies. Responsible for training of the soldiers, their wellbeing and soverseeing task progress. Promoted to the rank of Second Lieutenant in June 2020 and was transferred to Larnaka recruitment center. Responsible for onboarding and training of recruit soldiers.Completion of military service in September 2020 with the rank of Reserve Second Lieutenant (Infantry). Show less

  KPMG Summer Placement Programme 2022.Audit:Placed in the Audit department and had the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of Audit and apply them in practice.Audited some of the biggest firms in Cyprus including hotels, resorts, bakeries, pharmaceutical, and construction companies and gained a lot of new knowledge. Business Game:Part of this Placement Programme was a task given to the interns named "Business Game" which was a group assignment of teameork and entrepreneurial thinking, in which we should come up with an innovative start-up and present it in a dedicated event in front of colleagues and possible investors. This activity tested the creativity and critical thinking of the participants as well as aid in developing team-working, presentation and time management skills. Show less

  Intern in Deloitte’s Risk Adivsory and later in Sustainability Department Risk Advisory: Worked in the AML function, participated in projects with big corporations domestic and international. Projects included briefing clients on regulation changes and updates, and created new improved screening process for clients with online operations which included multiple importance/risk categories for customer due diligence process.Assuarance - Sustainability Consulting Department: Worked closely with partners and directors including some from Deloitte Middle East for a big client project in Qatar. Undertook due diligence procedures for potential new clients and participated in constructing client offer proposal presentation. Gained great knowledge and awareness of project management and sustainability practices in business today. Show less
