  Mr. Williams’s passion for build-to-rent and affordable housing began in 2020 as the sole sponsor of a 33-acre, 130-unit subdivision in central Ohio. This also marked the creation of Brookes Development which began building active-adult style, single-story homes. In November 2022, the project surpassed $10 million in horizontal and vertical construction. Across central Ohio and Maryland, he is the sole sponsor and developer on 389 multifamily rental units in construction or pre-construction ranging from single-family, duplexes, and townhomes with more planned through the Banksmore Development Fund.
