      • Utilized academic knowledge of threat and error management processes in airlines to spearhead development of in-house tracking process which costs SGD$ 1,500 per annum as compared to engaging an external Line Operations Safety Audit organization which would have incurred a cost of SGD$ 100K per annum. • Entrusted by the Manager for Flights Operations Safety and Security to gauge level of readiness in Singapore Airlines for the deployment of state of the art A350 aircraft by working closely with the Singapore Airlines A350 Project Team. The project assessed the change management impact as well as the effects of introducing cutting edge Head-up Displays (HUDs) to flight cockpit operations. The findings were presented to the Deputy Vice-President (Line Operations) and recommended improvements to accelerate swifter and seamless implementation were taken for consideration.• Solicited by the Manager for Human Factors/Crew Resource Management (leveraging my academic knowledge) to co-facilitate a post Singapore Airlines Safety Attitude Survey focus group session for pilots.       Primary Role - Management of AQD, the company's incident report management system, involving the processing of reports from crew and follow-up of incidents to closure.Managed the transition of Tigerair staff and crew into Scoot's AQD system for streamlined reporting.Developed training materials to guide Tigerair staff and crew through the AQD transition. Currently managing a similar transition to SIA's ISMS incident reporting system.Publishing the AQD monthly summary, a compilation of incidents from the previous month for crew awareness and safety promotion.Secondary Role - Administration and management of the airline's Flight Data Analysis Program. Collection and collation of data from two fleets of aircraft with differing data structures.Liasing with the vendor to effect changes and refinements to the FDM system. Analysis of event triggers to identify safety trends based on aircraft data.Usage of flight data to assist engineering in preventive aircraft maintenance (Maintenance Operation Quality Assurance).Additional duties such as safety management systems training, assisting the Safety Manager with Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments, and assisting the Fleet Safety Pilots with safety investigations.Other Achievements:Led the team in the development of a safety campaign to promote safety culture within the airline that resulted in an increase in incident reporting from the line.
