This initiative eliminated the risk of client information being compromised, insured the integrity and reputation of the Americas Wealth Management business, and avoided the potential average cost of $214 per compromised record.• Conceived, negotiated, and maintained agreements with PGP Corporation and AT&T to insure success of the Financial Advisor Personal Device Encryption initiative. Establishment of these agreements allowed Financial Advisors and their staff to comply with personal device encryption standards with minimal disruption to their $11 billion business.• Oversaw the testing and deployment of Encryption (Credant Mobile Guardian) and Data Loss Prevention (McAfee DLP) products for 40,000+ GWMT-managed workstations. This program eliminated the risk of proprietary information being compromised and allowed centralized monitoring and control of the transfer of sensitive information to removable storage devices, via e-mail and instant message, and through other communication channels.
