      Chassis Team

      - Chassis team is responsible for designing and manufacturing the carbon fiber monocoque as well as the ergonomic systems and crash. I performed materials testing to validate the structural integrity of the chassis.- Trimmed the carbon fiber monocoque and designed the jigging required to mount the T32 main hoop and roll hoop. I utilized SolidWorks to design the jig, making sure to comply with SAE regulations on boundaries, and then machined the prototype out of foam. TIG welded the current hoops and installed them to the car. - Surface modelled the raincover of the motor bay. Manufactured the mold and completed the carbon fiber layup for that piece. Show less
