      My current responsibilities include: promoting and driving a sensible positive safety culture within our business, supporting our thousands of employees in providing safe and secure facilities for all of our customers and driving an open and transparent reporting culture.Some of my more specific responsibilities include: - Dealing with general day to day safety enquiries.- Managing the serious incident management process within Places Leisure.- Direct management of Places Leisure lifeguarding provision, acting as the business ATC (Approved Training Centre Coordinator)- Serious Incident Investigation - Well-being support- QMS and policy control, creation and adaptation - Trend analysis via our incident reporting system- General Incident support through our incident reporting system. Show less My responsibilities include overseeing all operational aspects of the leisure centres that are located within the Wyre Forest District.These responsibilities include the following: Rota management; Safety Co-ordinator for all sites; Environmental Co-ordinator for all sites; overseeing all cleaning standards; managing customer relations; overseeing the creation and implementation of new electronic safety reports and auditing tools; overseeing all contractors and technical works on the sites; managing the R&M schedule and works for all sites within my contract. To ensure the efficient day to day operation of the Centre. 3. To undertake additional specific responsibilities. More specifically;To Maintain a high profile `shop floor` presence and a high level of interaction with staff and customers, Respond quickly and efficiently to any complaints from staff or customers, Feedback any key issues to the General Manager. To carry out duties of other members of staff if necessary, e.g. cover for breaks, holiday, sickness etc, To ensure compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act, and Places for People Safe Manual, To be responsible at all times for security of the building and its contents, To identify and report maintenance requirements for equipment or premises. To liaise with the appropriate staff member and to initiate repairs where necessary, To ensure the prompt preparation of all activity areas including the safe setting up, dismantling and storage of the equipment, To ensure a consistently high standard of cleanliness and site presentation including the surrounding outside areas, To carry out any general administrative duties that may be required, To assist on Reception if required, To ensure any accidents to staff or customers are correctly recorded and appropriate First Aid administered, To record any serious incidents correctly and notify the appropriate persons immediately, To assist customers with any inquiries and conduct tours of the Centre if necessary, To supervise the work of all front-line operational staff, particularly the Lifeguards, To be responsible for till floats and adequate charge provision, and if necessary the cashing up/reconciliatory of the Centres tills, To be responsible for the management of Special Events as required, To carry out any additional duties as required by the line manager, To carry out pool testing. Show less My responsibilities included: Supervising swimming activities at the aquatic centre and making sure that safety procedures, guidelines and policies are followed, warning of unsafe activities and enforcing water safety policies and pool regulations, providing first aid in the event of injury, rescuing swimmers in danger or distress and administering, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or artificial respiration, if necessary, Assessing conditions for safety and coming up with an action plan for aquatics emergency, Inspecting pool equipment, facilities and water to make sure they are usable and safe, Supervising and assisting in cleaning equipment and facilities, Opening and closing the pool each day, depending on schedule and hours, Organising and overseeing pool parties, Instructing or assisting classes in fundamentals of swimming, Resolving scheduling conflicts to make sure the pool environment is safe for competitions Show less
