  I am currently volunteering teaching English to 34, 8-10 years old who live in a very deprived area of Phnom Penh. The school is funded from charitable donations and serves the community who live next to the city refuse dump. The children that attend the school would otherwise spend their days scavenging on the tip looking for recyclable materials to sell to help support their families. The school provides rice to their families so they allow the children to attend school. The school also provides free meals, school uniform and teaching from 7am - 4.30pm. Show less
