  I worked for the Budgets, MIS, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Consolidation, Financial Reporting, and Audit unit of ICRISAT. Apart from interaction with external auditors, I had also been handling the job of budget designing and implementation. The responsibilities included Budget design and implementationDesign and implement budgets of the institute after considering the current year performances, funding position and provision for new request. Budget MonitoringIn ICRISAT Budget will be distributed to Department/Scientist level being it is non-profit organization. I was monitoring the budgets and see that expenditure does not overrun. Every month we use to prepare a report across locations and submit the same to Management Committee for further discussions. Financial Reporting of all CRP’sICRISAT is participating in Seven CRP’s including CRP3.5 and CRP3.6 which are leading by ICRISAT. I have to prepare Financial Statements and Required annexures for CRP’s and sending the reports to lead center as per dead lines  Management Information SystemsOften reporting to the Director, Finance and Human Resources, the job involved designing and generating routine as well as high level decision making reports. These reports are generated from Sun System (Developed by Systems Union Limited, UK) as well as SQL server. Consolidation of AccountsData received via electronic mail from various locations is loaded into the respective databases after due validations.
