  I was selected as the only middle school student in the state to be on the LUDA student panel, where I addressed educational issues from superintendents statewide.

  1/24 students in my school district will be selected for this committee. I provided valuable insight at each meeting to help create a five-year roadmap guiding the district's decisions. My proposal to purchase new textbooks was successful as it was implemented for the calculus classes this year. I also had the honor to speak as the only student at my middle school to speak on the School Spotlight video, which was featured on the district's YouTube page. The series of Spotlight videos, one from each school, was made to engage with the community as per the Strategic Plan.
