   Doubled production of Harvard College feature stories/press releases from 25 to over 50 in academic year 2010-2011.  Created communications for Dean Evelynn M. Hammonds, including year in review letter to parents and editorial on College alcohol policy.  Managed inquiries from major media, particularly in the areas of economics and the social sciences. Managed Harvard College website and expanded to include multimedia content. Tripled production of content for News and Events section of homepage. Produced 12 print and electronic publications for Harvard College Writing Program, Admissions Office, and Office of Student Life. Negotiated discounts with print vendors that resulted in thousands of dollars of savings. Redesigned and launched the online Harvard College Parents Newsletter. Expanded production from once a semester to once a month.    Contributed vision, ideas, and strategy to HDS’s internal and external marketing/communications efforts. Collaborate with leaders throughout HDS in positioning the School to its key audiences–-students, alumni and donors, Harvard University, and the general public.  Collected data and develop strategies for marketing, branding, and positioning through the use of written materials, web-based strategies, creative, and social media. Acted as a resource for leaders across HDS in evaluating and strengthening the School’s position, brand, and national reputation and in looking strategically at how the School communicates its academic rigor and innovative programs.  Defined the “story” of HDS and re-craft its reputation to accurately portray its current character and achievements. Conceived and wrote School’s annual fundraising appeals. Annual fund set new records for dollars raised and for participation.  Created speeches and presentations for Dean David Hempton on HDS, the importance of religious education, and the School’s $50M capital campaign. Helped supervise the creation and launch of HDS Current, the school’s new monthly electronic newsletter for alumni.  Co-developed social media strategy and co-manage HDS social media accounts that have seen a 1,500 percent increase in followers. Wrote budget proposals for development and for campaign communications. Managed annual development communications budget Wrote bicentennial case study of HDS under supervision of Derek Van Bever, director of Center for Growth and Innovation at Harvard Business School.
