  Mechanical design of two storage tanks for fuel, using the API 650 Standard and through a calculation sheet in Excel for the Fuel Distribution Plant of Catia La Mar. Also the PDVSA codes: F-201, FJ-251 and JA-221 were used for the determination of these tanks. As well as each lineament and parameter of the project.

My main performance was in:• Materials control department for activities like: - Quantity take-off (QTO) of piping materials - Elaboration of materials specification (SPEC) with ASTM, ASME, API, PDVSA codes• Field data collection and data sheet verification of existing equipment - Visit to the “Gas compression Plant – ULÉ”, Maracaibo-Venezuela - Management of isometric drawings, data sheets, P & IDs - Knowledge of safety rules and procedures within an existing plant• Pipeline stress analysis department for activities like: - Perform detailed computerized pipe stress analysis of critical piping systems using CAESAR II. - Review of design documents for assurance that the design complies with industry codes, piping specifications and client standards. - Design and qualify pipe supports and associated structure - Perform local stress evaluations of welded attachments and equipment nozzle connections.
