  The professional nurse study program is an advanced program for students to become professional nurses. As a nurse professional student, responsible to provide nursing care to patients with various types of diseases based on their knowledge and skills based on the authority delegated by the nurse supervisor. I had the opportunity to take the specialization program in the Stroke Unit of RSUP Dr. Sardjito for 6 weeks to learn about stroke care. That was a great experience to deliver nursing care to stroke patients including management of acute stroke patients, rehabilitation to enhance the functional status of the patient with deficit neurology, and health education to prevent stroke recurrence.
