  Elected by 19 secondary schools to serve as a Student Trustee for the Peel District School Board representing, and advocating for over 156,000 students across Peel Region. Worked with the second largest school board in Canada to provide new perspectives to Trustees and members of the board in the creation of policies and motions to support the students served. Conducted quantitative and qualitative research to understand student concerns across the region and summarized findings to share with the Board of Trustees to implement change in student education. Selected to be a student consultant for the Ministry of Education in the review of the Peel Board. I provided student insights on how the education board could better serve all students with a focus on equity and inclusion. Show less

Consulted with procedural staff and provided recommendations for modernizing content on the Legislative Assembly of Ontario’s public website. Conducted historical research on changes to the Standing Orders/Procedures in Ontario’s Parliament dating back to 1867 for the Assembly’s Table Research Office which will serve as a resource for a legislative publication being produced.Consulted with the Parliamentary Protocol and Public Relations Office regarding a memorial of great significance to the Indigenous community, conducted research on the memorial by interviewing staff for first-hand accounts, and composed an essay to be published in the opening ceremonies booklet in the new Parliamentary Session.
