  Using the knowledge I've gained through on the job training and first hand experience in the steel detailing industry, I check projects from beginning to end. Starting with the review of engineers and architects design documents and drawings. The Detailing team begins building a 3d model of the project (using the contract drawings), I thoroughly and thoughtfully check all inputted (steel) items, while keeping a close eye on special situations. Once the full scope of work has been digitally constructed and model checked, I inspect all shop drawings and erection sheets produced.Furthermore, I've developed an all digital checking procedure that has greatly enhanced my ability to check multiple large scale projects at one time, as well as, keep a digital record for all work I've checked (keeping these records greatly reduces the chance that something will slip through the cracks). I work hard and stay on task to help produce the best IFC drawings possible.In my opinion, the highest quality of work is the key to prosperity in a company. I bring this to the table for every job I check digitally, using custom notes, searches, symbols, and attention to detail (I make the software work for me in ways that others didn't fathom possible).
