      In- Plant Trainee

      Underwent an In-plant training at Salem Steel Plant (SAIL) in Salem. The training was in Mechanical Maintenance and involved understanding the working of different departments of the plant. The main sections are the Hot Rolling Mill and the Cold Rolling Mill. I learnt about the working of different stages of these mills. The other important section is the Lubrication systems which is responsible lubricate all the moving parts in the mill. The training period was one week.

      Summer Intern | Quality Assurance

      The Project was to Improve the FQI (Functional Quality Index) Score of the Radeon model through JKK in VA (Vehicle Assembly) of TVS Hosur plant. All the stages in the VA were analyzed for potential defects and are ranked based on the prevention of occurrence and detection. High Risk Stages were selected based on the functional effect they have on the vehicle. Solutions are proposed, discussed and then gauges are designed and fabricated to eradicate the chance of defect occurrence.
