  Acted as assistant to the GIS director (Mike Horney) within the Public Works Department of the Town of Kernersville, NC. I performed data collection, editing, and verification of town infrastructure located on a central GIS server in preparation for a switch to ArcGIS Server. I also created custom maps and posters for both public and private consumers with a wide variety of cartographic content.

  Geospatial Analyst / Cartographer at Wiser Co. in Birmingham, AL. My duties included feature data extraction from satellite imagery to MGCP standards (TRD 2.0 and 3.0) and finished cartographic production of TLM and MDG topographic maps at 50K scale. All tasks were highly detailed and were performed in an independent environment with little supervision resulting in extremely high quality products. Before leaving, I was performing Quality Control on a feature data training project with high marks from my superiors and was considered to be within the “top 10% of all the production staff.” Show less

The majority of my clients were within Medical and Legal practices, so I have become quite familiar with similar businesses in the Middle Georgia region.
