Coordinate engineering and construction management teams in US and China to specify, design and build the factory and production line. The 33,000 square meter, automotive windshield manufacturing facility is in Zibo City, Shandong Province, China. The company,Shandong PGW Jinjing Automotive Glass Co., Ltd., is a joint venture between Pittsburgh Glass Works LLC and Jinjing Glass Group Co.,LTD. The facility is scheduled to begin production in January, 2016. Oversee construction management team, coordinate PGW engineering team and external equipment suppliers. Coordinates with production startup team. Refurbish an existing 400,000 sq. ft. warehouse and distribution center, creating a fully functional manufacturing facility. Install and startup automotive tempering process equipment in 2013. Plan for Phase II: Install and startup an integrated automotive windshield manufacturing line in 2014/2015. Project Manager Pittsburgh Glass Works, Poland Automotive Glass Laminating Facility May, 2010 to September 2012Project Manager with responsibility for engineering, construction, equipment installation and startup. Engineering in US, Italy and Poland to design and build a greenfield, 200,000 sq. ft. automotive windshield manufacturing facility in Środa Śląska, Poland. Installed and started up a fully integrated automotive windshield manufacturing line, with equipment supplied by 12 suppliers. Production line capacity 1.2 million units/year, dedicated to Daimler. Management to completion included a 20 months ExPat residency in Poland.
