  1) Successfully completed the dissertation project entitled "Understanding Breast Cancer Mutational Pathways in a South Indian Population Using Whole Exome Sequencing." This research project focused on analyzing genomic data and identifying mutational pathways associated with breast cancer in a specific population. Through whole exome sequencing, I gained insights into the genetic variations and potential biomarkers related to the disease.2) Acquired observational training at the Atal Incubation Centre under CCMB, Hyderabad, with a primary focus on molecular biology techniques. During this training, I gained training in DNA isolation from blood, PCR, agarose gel electrophoresis, and library preparation for Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) using Sureselect XT HS2 DNA system. Additionally, I gained expertise in conducting quality checks of DNA like purity and concentration check using Nanophotometer and quantification using Qubit flurometer to ensure accurate and reliable results.3) Demonstrated proficiency in NGS data analysis by utilizing bioinformatics tools and biological databases. I analyzed large-scale genomic datasets obtained from Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) experiments, applying bioinformatics algorithms and methodologies to identify genetic variations, annotate variants, and interpret their potential functional impacts.4) Made significant contributions to pharmacogenomics report generation and scientific writing. I effectively communicated complex genomic findings and their implications in pharmacogenomics reports, highlighting the relevance for personalized treatment strategies.These experiences have equipped me with a unique combination of wet lab skills, including molecular biology techniques, and dry lab skills, such as NGS data analysis and scientific reporting.
