Innovation Challenge Twizza CEO Aug 2025 In 2025 all HODs were divided into groups of 7, with a total of 12 groups, we competed for the best innovation idea. Our team "The Bears" obtained second place with the energy saving initiative to lower our kWh usage across the group with various plans such as machine upgrades and optimisation.

Business simulation competition Twizza CEO Aug 2024 In 2024, HODs were divided into groups and given a challenge to simulate a business in partnership with GIBS, we were part of the Green team and we won with best business based on various factors such as cash, profitabity, and sustainability.

Management Development Program GIBS Dec 2015 Our team came first in a GIBS management development programme where all the different teams presented the CEO and EXCO members with our findings on food safety. Teams were selected from all the managers within Mpact (>400 managers) and members were randomly joined with maximum members of four per team. The outcome was that group-wide, all the divisions were to implement food safety and our plant successfully obtained food safety in 2017, very few converting plants currently hold this accreditation and gives us a great competitive advantage and we were able to grow our sales with a large margin because of this.
